Dan Foley Photography agrees to have one photographer capture the client's wedding day for the time specified in chosen package:

 

• ‘I Do’ Package - approximately 2.5hrs coverage; arrivals, ceremony, group and couple portraits.

• ‘Enchanted’ Package - approximately 4 - 5hrs coverage; One hour morning prep and finishing before start of meal.

• ‘Timeless’ Package - approximately 8hrs coverage; One hour morning prep and finishing with first dance.

• ‘Soulmate’ Package - approximately 10hrs coverage; Up to two hours morning prep and finishing with first dance.

The photographer will not take photos during the wedding breakfast and will use this time to take a break. A meal is not a requirement, however, one would be greatly appreciated.

The photographer will stay to photograph beyond the first dance, approximately 15 minutes. Any photography following this time will be at the discretion of the photographer or if expressly agreed in writing beforehand.

If you book the 'Timeless' package and there is more than 8 hours between start and first dance (i.e. an earlier ceremony), please talk to the photographer in advance, as your coverage may not cover everything you wish for and finish before your evening reception begins. The 'Soulmate' package at 10 hours coverage may be better suited for your wedding photography. Alternatively the photographer, at their discretion, may offer an interval; i.e. leaving your wedding after the speeches and returning for the first hour of your evening reception to wrap up your coverage. Please do not assume this will be the case and talk to your photographer in advance.

The couple can expect to receive a sneak peek of their photography on social media within 72 hours and expect to receive their full wedding gallery 3 weeks from their date, which may be extended to 4 weeks during busy summer season. A USB of all photography will also be provided to the within 12 weeks from wedding date. Ownership of the photography will remain with the photographer, and may be used in online and/or print portfolios, campaigns and publications. 

 

For a booking involving a church ceremony or at certain venues, the movements of the photographer are sometimes restricted by the official in charge. The area from which the photographer is able to cover the ceremony may not be by choice and therefore cannot accept responsibility for any obstructed view should this be the case.

 

Due to a variety of lighting conditions and the limitations of digital sensors, some colours may alter throughout a set of photographs.

 

The cost of all packages is split in to two separate payments. In order to secure your booking a non-refundable deposit of £250 is requested. By paying the deposit, the client will secure Dan Foley Photography services for the date of the wedding, as well as confirming full acceptance of the terms and conditions. The booking fee will be deducted from the cost of the client's chosen package, and the remaining balance will be due to be paid at least four weeks before your wedding date. An extra charge for travel and accommodation depending on location of the wedding may also apply but this will be agreed upon before you book.

 

In the very unlikely event of cancellation by the photographer liability shall be limited to a full refund of any fees paid.

If the client(s) should have to cancel a booking the following cancellation fees will become due immediately upon said cancellation:

• Cancellation from the booking date to six months before your wedding, the booking fee.

• Cancellation six to one month before wedding date, 50% of remaining balance.

• Cancellation with less than four weeks to go until the wedding date, full price for the complete photographic coverage booked. The client(s) are hereby advised to take out an appropriate insurance policy to cover any expenses incurred in the event of cancellation.

• In the event of a booking cancellation made by the client, all monies paid up until the point of cancellation will be non-refundable.

• Rescheduling your wedding date will be taken as a cancellation and a new booking fee will be required, by the discretion of the photographer.

Availability may be limited and reservations are made on a first come first served basis, validated by the deposit and the booking form.

I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time where I deem it is in my best interest on the basis of credit, past history, lack of safety precaution, or likelihood of abuse.

Photographs taken during the course of the event will be at the discretion of the photographer although every effort will be made to comply with the client's requirements. Special requests are not binding instruction, although every effort is made to comply with the client's wishes. The photographer will do their best to honour the requested photographs but do not guarantee any specific shots. The photographer will be the sole professional (still) photographer at the venues specified. However, I positively encourage family, friends and other guests to take photographs throughout the day.

 

All digital negatives (computer files) remain the property of the photographer and may be kept up to three months from the date of capture. All digital wedding packages include a copy of the edited digital JPEGS to the client(s) for their own non-commercial use. The Photographer will keep a digital backup of the JPEGS for up to two years only, this may be extended at the discretion of the photographer.

Editorial & Retouching

 

All images will be adjusted for exposure, brightness, contrast, hue, sharpness etc. The Photographer’s judgement regarding these corrections and the images put forward to the client for preview shall be deemed correct. Retouching, digital manipulation and artist finishing is available to the client as an optional extra cost. 

 

Colour Pop Images are available and a client can select up to 4 images from the I Do Package, 6 images from the Enchanted Package, 8 images from the Timeless Package, 10 images from the Soulmate Package to be reedited as colour pop when they have received their wedding preview. 

 

When a USB or Digital Download link has been issued to the Client the Editorial section of your chosen package has been completed. Any further edits/retouching after this point is only available to the client at an extra cost. 

 

If the Client requests a second Digital Download Link after three months, a charge will be applicable as a new gallery will have to be created and uploaded. Extra USB’s are also chargeable and the Photographer recommends all Clients back up their images once received. 

 

Any directions issued to clients, their guests or employees during a photographic shoot are deemed to be at said persons own risk. The photographer cannot be held responsible for any personal accidents during a photographic shoot.

 

The copyright Designs and Patents Acts assign the copyright of the images to the photographer. The client(s) hereby agrees the photographer to display any photograph covered by this contract and to generally promote the business in advertising, brochures, magazine articles, websites, sample albums, etc.
